In Loving Memory Of Our Founder And Jewelry Designer, Shy Tyler
Shy moved from an urban environment to the desert and fell in love with the beauty and the spirit of the landscape. In March of 2022, she traveled to Spain and took classes in wire wrapping and wire weaving sponsored by Wire Guild. She used her lapidary skills to make cabochons throughout the Rain Shadow Reflections product line. She worked with dozens of colors and materials including stone, wire, beads, metal, paint, resin, and clay to form stylish pieces that conveyed her love of the desert. After living a good, full life, Shy sadly passed away in September of 2023 due to pulmonary fibrosis. She will be missed.

Meet Our Operations Gal And Model, Rachel White
Rachel was born and raised in the stunning deserts of Arizona. She too is a lover of the dry and barren landscape. Rachel graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with a Bachelors in Business Management in 2021, but wasn't sure about her next step. Early in 2022, Shy had learned about Rachel's educational background and offered her a challenge: starting up a jewelry business. Rachel accepted. Together with Shy, she has helped in creating the Rain Shadow Reflections website, and now takes care of the business. She also occasionally models the jewelry for the social media platforms. Rachel loved working with Shy and was heartbroken when she passed. Despite the heartache, she has decided to make Shy's dream become a reality.
Meet Our New Jewelry Designer, Katelyn Hardt
Katelyn was born and raised in Arizona and has loved growing up in the wild, hot habitat. After a life changing car accident in 2019, Katie had to learn how to walk again and use her left arm and hand. As a form of therapy, Katelyn dived into the work of needlework and crafting. In early 2023, Shy introduced Katelyn to the art of jewelry making, giving her a new purpose. Shy was eager to mentor Katelyn and for her to join the Rain Shadow Reflections crew. Katelyn loved working alongside Shy and was grateful for her passionate influence in her life. Katelyn has also decided to continue Shy's legacy, and hopes that she can bring what Shy brought: beauty among hardships.
